Ella's fashion sense???

Don't think I need to say much about this, only that Ella chooses most of her own clothes and is not easily persuaded from her choices.

Samford Show

On Saturday we ventured out to the Samford Show, leaving Maia with Nanna and Pa. Someone (Carol) had mentioned that we might see some pigs at the show and we couldn't stop at anything else until we saw some pigs. Rob and Ella went into the animal petting section to see the piglets and everyone time Ella tried to touch the pigs they ran away. We also saw the pig racing. I think the highlight for Ella though was the yellow pig (a person dressed up in a pig outfit for the Bendigo Bank). Not quite sure why it was the highlight as she wouldn't even touch it, but it is all we have heard about since. Also saw a small circus which Ella seemed to enjoy.

Maia swimming

I have been taking Maia to swimming lessons for 3 or 4 months now, but we hadn't had the opportunity to take any photos. None of these ones are particularly good, but at least we have some now. Normally Maia absolutely loves swimming, but on this day she cried for most of the lesson (as you can see from the first photo).

Visit to the Gold Coast

Last Wednesday Mum, Ella, Maia and I visited Grandma and Granddad at the Gold Coast. It was the first time I had seen Granddad at home since his operation. We all had a good day even though Granddad wasn't feeling the best.

Toowoomba

I took the girls up to Toowoomba to visit Kim for her birthday this week. It was the first time we had stayed overnight in Toowoomba since Maia was born. We had a great time and will definitely be doing it more often now that Kim has a little bit more spare time. Went to the Angel Cafe for morning tea on Wednesday - photos above. Won't post the silly one of Kim and Ella though.
