Off to the clinic again

We went to the clinic again yesterday to assess whether we should still go to the Ellen Barron Centre as last time I had mentioned we were thinking of cancelling our booking. In the meantime though, Rob and I had decided that we would definitely be attending as after 3 nights in a row with 2 hours of continuous screaming.......and finally only settling after a feed. She is also a lot more difficult to get to sleep during the day, I think we went backwards when she had her cold. Anyway, we got weighed and she has actually lost weight. Ella now weighs 7.09kg.

Have had a busy week this week. Have been somewhere every morning and also tomorrow and Friday. We have had 2 swimming lessons this week and will have 2 next week as well. Then we miss 2 weeks. Ella put her whole face under on Monday and it didn't bother her in the slightest. Rob has also been busy this week, leaving early and getting home late (not until nearly 5pm), which when you leave just after 5am is quite late. Am looking forward to our holidays next week, 2 weeks of sleeping in...

Frost

It was probably my coldest ever night in Brisbane last night. (Was very cosy in bed though.) Temperature hit 3.1deg at about 7am. Kim's car had quite a bit of frost on the roof and front and back windscreens!

Out visiting

Finally got up to Grandmum and Grandpop's yesterday morning. We were going to go last Monday and then last Thursday, but the dreaded cold left us at home. Realised that we hadn't seen them for nearly 2 months! All is good with them and they were very pleased to see us. Thankfully Ella didn't disgrace herself this time by crying when taken to see the neighbours.

Ella's first rusk

Ella had her first rusk today. As you can see she quite enjoyed it, as it is all over her face, her bib, her hands, her clothes and the highchair. Second photo is after we had to change her clothes!
